BERLIN - beroNet GmbH released the world’s first cloud managed telephony appliance with an integrated Hypervisor capable of running silently on less than 20 Watts.

“While designing the next generation of beroNet’s Telephony Appliance we focused on creating a flexible and energy efficient piece of technology” said Christian Richter, CEO of beroNet GmbH. “By integrating the beroNet Hypervisor we have enabled IT and telecommunication professionals to easily install multiple cloud managed virtual machines capable of running the VoIP and data needs of their customers.”

The beroNet Hypervisor connects with the beroNet Market, allowing IT professionals to directly download and install the IP-PBX of their choice without connecting additional media to the appliance. Each virtual machine installed in the beroNet Hypervisor can be remote managed and monitored using the beroNet Cloud service. This is the same service that monitors and manages beroNet Gateways and PCIe cards.

“As part of VoIP2day’s Best Product jury, I gave very high marks to beroNet’s New Appliance. It’s a beautifully engineered and solid product, which simplifies the complexity of VoIP cards and their drivers by offering an ethernet interface,” said Saúl Ibarra Corretgé, VoIP2Day 2015 Judge and SIP Guru. “This greatly helps the logical separation of equipment in a VoIP deployment: there is a PBX, and there is a gateway to the PSTN, even if they are physically on the same box.”

During the 2015 VoIP2Day exhibit the beroNet Telephony Appliance 2.0 won third place in the best product competition, effectively making it the Best Telephony Appliance at VoIP2Day 2015. Winning third place as a runner up to end-customer technology further demonstrates the intuitiveness of the design and full functionality of the device.

The beroNet Telephony Appliance 2.0 is available in three different models, each varying on the amount of memory and storage provided; ranging from 4GB of ram and 60 GB SSD to 16GB of Ram and a 240GB SSD. Inquiries regarding the appliance can be directed to sales@beronet.com or by telephone to +49 30 259389 0, or to one of our distribution partners listed on our website at www.beronet.com.
